Wichita State University School of Social Work provides qualified students with the option to earn an MSW degree. The University offers four themes from which students choose: cultural competency, social justice, empowerment, and multi-dimensional practice. Classes offered include social welfare policy, generalist practice, cultural competency, empowerment and social justice, and applied social work research.

Newman University gives students the opportunity to earn an MSW degree. Students work to develop skills in a direct family centered social work concentration. Classes provided include topics such as human behavior, family centered practice, research, family theory, practice evaluation, and supervision.
