The city offers the opportunity for an MSW in the following schools:

  1. Temple University Graduate School of Social Administration gives students the option to earn an MSW degree. The School provides three options: clinical practice, management and planning, or social work in communities and policy arenas. Classes offered include social work research, policies and services, practice with families, management, planning, and practice in communities.

  2. University of Pennsylvania School of Social Policy and Practice provides applicants who qualify with the opportunity to earn an MSW degree. The University provides concentrations in clinical or macro practice. The University offers classes in topics such as American racism and social work practice, understanding social change, mental health policy, children and families, and urban policy.
